Over 200 Meineke franchisees from across the country all came together February 5-8, 2017 for their annual franchisee convention at the beautiful Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The annual convention is a great opportunity for franchisees to reconnect, share best practices, and learn important business updates and opportunities. In addition to seeing old friends and learning new things, it was a great opportunity for Meineke employees, vendors, and franchisees to rally together for one common cause to show that they are not only about automotive repair and maintenance but also about supporting their communities and those in need. Due to the generosity of the many convention attendees, Meineke and the Driven Brands Charitable Foundation were able to raise $23,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, beating their convention fundraising goal of $22,000! Dollars raised will provide comfort, treatment, and hope for many sick kids across the country.
These dollars were raised through general donations, a silent auction filled with great items donated by generous vendor partners, as well as a raffle where the winner, Meineke franchisee Joe Saelens of Wisconsin, won a stay at the Casa Marina Resort in Key West, FL!
